Coin Collecting Social Network Launched

Over the weekend, I put the finishing touches on a new coin collecting social network I have been developing called Coin Network.

This is a brand new, full fledged social network created exclusively for coin collectors. Members each have their own customizable home page on the network and can upload their favorite coin photos and videos. Members can also start or contribute to discussions in the coin forum or write their own blog.

I am hoping that the network can become a great place to discuss coins and meet other coin collectors. You can take a quick preview of some of the features on the Welcome New Members page.

To help get the network started, I will be holding a free contest open to anyone who signs up for the network between now and December 7, 2008. The winner will receive one 2008-W $10 American Platinum Eagle. This is the "W" mint marked collectible version of the 1/10 oz. platinum coin. It was the first of the 2008-W Uncirculated Platinum Eagles to sell out at the US Mint.

To enter the contest, simply sign up at Coin Network between now and December 7, 2008. The winner will be randomly selected on December 8.
